Is my SAT score good enough?

I am a junior, and I recently took the October 2010 SAT. I scored a 2270 with a 750-CR, 770-M, 750-W (Essay: 11, 71MC). I am planning on applying to ivies and various other 20 twenty schools, such as Johns Hopkins, Duke, Northwestern, and the University of Chicago. The main ivies that I am planning on realistically applying to are U Penn, Columbia, and Princeton. Considering I am an East Indian (ORM), is my score still competitive enough for these institutions? I am planning on retaking anyway; but by some chance if I do not improve at all or just go down, is my score still "good" enough to put my into the reasonable standardized test score zone for my ethnicity at these universities?

It’s well within/above the average for all the schools on your list. However, the higher the better (obviously) lol. I won’t recommend retaking it if you know your score is gonna down; but if it goes down by a little, its not a big deal. If it goes up…Great! The rest comes down to your essays/GPA/ECs/recommendations.

Best of luck!

thank you!

That’s a great score. You should be proud.
Now concentrate on the rest of your applications.
