is my sat subject test score good enough?

so i just took my sat math 2 subject test and got a 780
i was wondering if i need to retake because the percentile was 71

i am planning on majoring in either business or compsci/engineering/some stem field

i am a junior and now am taking BC calculus and i was a sophomore when i took it

No. Move on and focus on other aspects of your application.

And an 800 is 79th percentile. Don’t get caught up with percentiles. It is important to understand that for several subjects, the percentiles are depressed because so few colleges request Subject Tests, that the ones that do are the ultra selective ones. As a result, it is the high achieving kids taking the tests. No AO is sitting on the floor cross-referencing scores with percentiles.
