is my schedule good enough to get into ivy league school?

i dont really know what im supposed to put on here so sorry if this doesnt make sense
im currently a sophomore

here are my classes
freshmen year:
PE
algebra 1-2
la 1-2
9th grade science 1-2
info tech/health
pottery/home econ
i got a 3.7 gpa this year.

sophomore year:
PE
geometry 1-2
la 3-4 (honors)
biology (honors) 1-2
french 1-2
world history 1-2
right now i have a 3.2 gpa for 1st quarter

extracurriculars:
jv tennis
jv football
jv soccer
break dance club

edit: also i dont know if it matters but i had 3.8 gpa in 6th grade, 3.7 gpa in 7th grade and 3.7 gpa in 8th grade
i also did track in 7th grade and 8th grade

please be honest

Honestly it seems pretty lacking. But if its the most rigorous then it’s fine, even though I’d up that 3.2

As long as you are taking the most rigorous classes you can handle and that your school is offering, you should be fine.

Seriously?

Seems like a ■■■■■ post to me… especially with the chosen screenname. Really? C’mon now.

Takes more than a schedule to get in brotha. Also takes more than a schedule to get denied.

Well you have few honors and no APs, so that seems a little lacking…though if your school does not offer any honors/AP then colleges will know that.
If there are more advanced courses offered, try to take those, as right now your schedule seems relatively easy.

On top of everyone’s advice of taking a more rigorous courseload, you might want to consider cutting down on the extracurriculars, as they seem to take a huge chunk of your time which you should be putting into your studies. (or figure out how you could improve your GPA-- better time management?) A 3.7 and 3.2 in core/honors classes aren’t too impressive.

If your school doesn’t offer many honors and AP classes for freshman and sophomores, then try to stack up on 4 or more APs in junior and senior year.

Or if your school doesn’t offer AP classes, then colleges will know that.

:( just because my schedule and grade suck doesn’t mean this is a ■■■■■ post
i didn’t really start caring about college until now so i dont really know anything about requirements or what looks good
i asked a friend and he said this website was good for advice so here i am

Your schedule so far is what it is. You can’t change the past.

So now that you care, what’s the plan for the future?
