Next year I’m taking some classes that I’m still thinking over and I wanted to know from somebody to known if this schedule screams this kid is awesome. And I would also love some tips in any of the classes and about how the hell I can survive 4 AP classes.
Junior Year Classes
Biotechnology II Honors
World History Honors
AP Biology
AP English Language and Composition
AP Statistics
AP Psychology
Pre-Calculus Honors
Java Programming Honors
Seems pretty awesome- and it’s really cool that your school offers a biotech class. You’re very lucky
For AP bio, study every day to keep up with the info
For AP lang, make up as much analysis as possible, find out what style of essay gets you high scores, and keep replicating that but with different topics
If you plan on taking AP calc next year, try to understand the concepts behind precalc instead of memorizing things (ex. don’t memorize the unit circle- learn to draw the triangle out using reference angles)
Thanks so much for Replying. And I grateful for your wisdom on my classes for next year
Everything looks fine, but do you have a foreign language you take? Most colleges require 2-3 years, but want to see 3 or 4 (for competitive applicants and schools). Other than that, it is completely fine.
Agree with the above, Looks fine except for lack of foreign language.
I’ve taken 3 years of Spanish so my foreign language requirement is over
All I can say is pace your workload. I leave everything till the day it’s due and never get any sleep which is really stressful. Also about the foreign language is ap spanish is available to you i recommend you take it. It looks great on your transcript but if you really don’t want to don’t do it.
Thank you and I’m an hardcore procrastinator as well but at least I like the subjects I’m taking an so class on. And I can’t take Spanish anymore used to be an A student with Spanish but now I’m getting C’s because the school government is getting harder and in just trying to finish my last mandatory foreign language credit so that I can do more science/math classes.
Also don’t underestimate ap psychology. Everyone on CC says it’s an ap lite but don’t take that to heart. Just because it may be easier than physics C doesn’t mean it’s easy. I made this mistake an ended up getting a B first semester so beware lol
