For Cornell (ED.) I'm majoring in English Literature, by the way.
Also, my school only offers 9 APs. Since I'm not going into anything math/science-related, will the regular math (for two years) and regular science (one year) really affect me? I have a hard time in math/science, but excel way beyond my age level when it comes to the humanities, and I'll make sure that they know that.

My ECs are fantastic and reflect my passions well.

Am I screwed, or ok? Thanks.

PS: No one from my school is applying to Cornell, either. I took a gap year, too.

Yes, I’m using my gap year to travel with National Geographic, and I’m hoping that I’ll have recs.

Any other opinions?

Bump? …

Depends on your what courses your school offers. Your schedule should be most rigorous at your school.

It is, except for science for one year (senior) and math for one year (sophomore.)

I went to a different school in 9th grade, and they didn’t offer honors algebra I. So I had the most rigorous course load that year.

Sophomore I had regular math (they offered honors) because I’m just not too mathematically-inclined.

I actually was in a good position for science in 9th, 10th, and 11th. I was a year ahead of 95% of my class. But my teacher thought that honors physics would be too much for me, since it involves a lot of math and I’m not the greatest math student.

^ it’s math and science that’s my problem. Every other class, I’m either a year ahead or in advanced courses for my grade level.

Bump please

I mean, you only took three non-honors classes. Of course that’s rigorous enough.
