I’d say that it really depends on where you want to apply, want you want to do, and your own specialties.

I think it depends on your abilities. People said my schedule would be too difficult and that AP Chem would be the hardest class. Well, my average in AP Chem is the highest of the class (or top 5) out of juniors and seniors even doubled with AP Physics B and then with 2 other APs. Don’t listen to what people tell you. Everyone is different.

Hmmm…I’m looking at history and bio right now. That combo could be a little tough. They’re both memorization, and if you have tests on the same day, then it’s hell. I don’t know about your school, but in ours, we’re required to take notes for bio and history; it is VERY time consuming. So we get fried easily from those two classes. But if your school doesn’t do that, then it shouldn’t be a problem 'cause you just have to read and memorize.

And the rest is easy, Good luck!

Hmm… I know that all schools are different in academic rigor… but if you took those courses at my school, and put work and dedication into them, then you’d be fine. The AP Human and Psych exams are a lot of vocabulary. AP Bio is TOUGH, but a really interesting class, and I’m not the fan of APUSH… history just isn’t my favorite, and I liked AP World a lot better.

Anyways, that’s my personal opinion. However, difficulty-wise, that schedule looks doable. Just keep in mind the AP exams in May, and how many you want to take.

I’m in the same situation, heres my schedule:

Honors Pre-Calculus <- hardest math class in school, teacher went to MIT for his undergraduate degree and masters and enjoys the reputation of having the hardest math class and works hard to uphold it

AP Biology
AP US History
Honors English 3
AP Statistics
AP Computer Science

I’m contemplating dropping AP History

not really, i’ve seen people survive worse

not hard at all for OP.

Md5 I’d say manageable

In the end, the final decision is entirely dependent on you personally, so its hard for any of us to tell you whether it will be hard or easy. There is simply too much variation between the strengths of individual students and the difficulty of specific courses at each school.

But based on my experiences, you have a rather modest schedule

No not at all

Ditto. But not modest in a “get twelve mroe APs” way, it just looks like a very managable schedule. Of course, the OP could attend a really difficult school. It’s all relative.

OP, your best bet is to talk to kids the year above you, preferably ones with similar academic prowess, and see what they’ve been able to handle.

Not really; looks slightly easier than my sophomore schedule actually.

Ugh, this thread is the prime example of why I hate CC sometimes.

OP: Your schedule looks fine. It’ll be tough if you want to have a social life or do time-intensive things like sports or theater. However, if you stay on top of your work, you should be fine. If not, you can always drop :).
