The only classes I'm worried is mainly Physics and Linear Algebra. I was thinking of dropping either Linear Algebra or economics if things get too rough.

I'm a Freshmen and am about to finish my multivariable calculus class. Will this help for Linear Algebra? Also, first semester I took 4 classes and felt I had plenty of time to fit in one more class. But since I'll be taking 3 science/math classes, I feel I might be overwhelmed. What do you guys think?

What classes in math and math-based science have you taken so far, and how have you done in them?

This doesn’t sound impossible, but several of these are classes that you can’t just BS your way through. In Linear Algebra we have homework and get points for it, but our teacher actually grades it. In computer science, if there’s even a small flaw in your program, it doesn’t work (though I’m sure you knew that). Econ and English should be easier in this regard.

Depends on you, your school, your professors, etc.

I took Multivariate and Linear Algebra at the same time, I remember little pieces of the material tying together but there wasn’t a whole lot of similarity. Completing one before the other probably won’t give you a huge advantage, but if you like math it’s probably a good sign for both.

If it were me, I’d try it and see. Make sure you know the drop deadlines, and if it seems like too much in the first couple weeks, drop something. Especially if it sounds like there’ll be a lot of labs, projects, and problem sets.
