I recently appeared for my TOEFL test, and the score is 88.

Writing- 27
Listening- 22
Speaking- 20
Reading- 19

Is this score going to work for NYU, Drexel University, Temple University or any other US university(Except Ivy League ones, I know they require 100+)?

You need to look at each college’s website to see whether they set a minimum score for admission.
NYU doesn’t have a minimum score, but most of the applicants have 100+ in their TOEFLs.(That means you need 100+ in EVERYWHERE that are as competitive as Ivy league or other selective schools)

Honestly, Toefl is just an indicator of whether you can speak English fluently enough or not; it doesn’t show academic or logical strength so much as SAT/ACT does.

Did you take SAT or SAT IIs?

I did take SAT. But the score hasn’t published yet.

I think it might be good enough for Drexel or Temple.
But for your own sake, you might want to improve your reading skill, a 19 is not good for college level reading.

Yes dude! I have plans to retake it! :)
