Is my writing relevant to the prompt?

i took this essay prompt in october 2013

"Is too much info about public figures distracts us from main issues ???

so i wrote that to know much about public figures we must consider people's public opinion related to tht ( person in general ) or ( to that situation ) so my question is tht whether my writing is relevant or not ?? ?

plz reply guys

any feedback is really appreciated plz reply soon

No, it is not relevant. While consideration of people’s public opinions of a public figure may undoubtedly allow us to extract more information about such individuals, does that answer the question of whether access to or awareness of a plethora of personal information about a public figure distracts us from the more important matters, which I assume would mean something along the lines of a political candidate’s ability to do well in office in contrast to how many women he did in the past or whether he did drugs in the past? I think not.

Perhaps you had best be content with either a 6 or a 7.

@donnykim thnx for ur reply !!!

That makes no sense. You might have a chance at getting a 0, then. Has nothing to do with the question.

hey i wrote tht before making any decision in life we must consider the people’s opinions toward this decision ? i wrote an excellent introduction
and i wrote an excellent introduction to my example ( my example was about a man
who invaded a country with out taking the opinion of his generals and because he didn’t took the decision of his generals it led to his lose ) and my second example ( as i was running about of time ) so i wrote a personal example ( it was about my uncle ( a fresh man in his work ) who lend to his colleague some money without asking about the opinion of the public so he lost his money )
finally ( at the end i wrote a nice conclusion ) ??

am i totally off ? ? plz reply soon i’m so anxious

You could have written like fricken Freud or Shakespeare and it would not matter, because you were off-topic.
Who the hell asks the opinion of the public before lending money?

wbu the first example ?

@porcupine so , i shall receive a score of 0 or something from 5-7 ??

Zeroes are extraordinarily rare. The readers want to see that you can write at a college level. However, answering the question IS very important, and failing to do so will prevent you from receiving an upper-half score.

Since I can’t see the exact contents of your paper, I cannot determine for certain whether you were off-topic.

My guess, based on what you’ve written here and the way that you’ve written it, is that you’ll receive a six (two threes).

@jkjeremy thnx u  for ur reply , but can u guess my score ? ?? i entered the international october exam ??

math :- 2 wrong in (mcq ) & ( 1 ) in grid in
writing :- from 5 - 7 ( a 6 essay )
critical :- my weakest point ( i think tht my score in critical might be ( 510 - 570 )

Stop trying to raise that post count. We all know you failed

You’re welcome, but the algebra involved in calculating your score is beyond the scope of my expertise.

You most likely got somewhere between 1800 and 1950.

@omnipotent 24 thnx u !!! for ur reply ( actually this is my aim to break either the 1800 or 1900 barrier i hope tht this expectation becomes a reality _ i can’t wait i am so anxious just 9 more days to go )
