Is NHS an academic honor or an extracurricular?

<p>On the common app, they seem to list it as an honor… don’t know why (just because it has the word “honor” in it??). But yeah- its an EC</p>

<p>It’s an honor to be a member, but participating is an EC. However, it’s best presented as an EC, as the honor spaces should be reserved for things you aren’t already mentioning as ECs.</p>
