Is no additional recs a bad thing??

Hi, I’m considering applying to Stanford EA and I was wondering whether not submitting an additional rec would put me at a disadvantage compared to all the other applicants, or if the success rate of people who submit additional recs is roughly equivalent to the success rate of those who do. I understand that it’s probably impossible for anyone to know for sure, but in case anyone has insight, please share! I just don’t really have someone not a teacher who I feel knows me well enough to add something substantial to my application.

I was admitted REA to Stanford with no additional recommendations, and my hunch is that most REA and regular admits did not submit additional recommendations.

You should certainly NOT submit a letter that doesn’t add anything substantive simply for the sake of having an additional recommendation.

Okay awesome! Thank you so much.
