I got into MS pharmacology prog at NEU for fall 2010 with no fin aid. Now I cant help but wonder if it is worth spending 35K/year for my masters at NU. There seems to be loads of threads talking abt the awesome co-op etc at NU but none abt the research work, facilities, graduate education etc at Northeastern.
Can anyone pls shed some light on this? (especially regarding Bouve college)

I would say go for it. I don’t know much about pharmacology, but I assume the degree is 2 years, i.e. $70k plus living costs?

Northeastern is ranked #46 by US News, for what it’s worth. [Rankings - Pharmacy - Graduate Schools - Education - US News and World Report](http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-pharmacy-schools/rankings/page+2)

If you have some money to spare, definitely go for it. If you don’t have money, well…I wouldn’t see a problem with taking out loans to pay for school. If you’re going to be a pharmacist, you’ll be making plenty of money after you get your degree and should have no trouble paying off those loans.

Sorry topgun, I forgot to mention it, I am an international student and not licensed to work as a Pharmacist in US (SO no big bucks after graduation)

Anyway I am more interested in Industry-related jobs especially in R&D but I’m not sure of the Job scenario after completing MS from Northeastern.

Anybody knows anything regarding this?
