I am a junior and next year want to apply to NYU CAS for a bio/neuro/premed major. I however that NYU is very strong at humanities and many people there are humanities majors. So I was wondering, is NYU good for sciences too? (like bio)

if you like science, study at NYU poly.

I thought NYU Poly was more for engineering, chem, applied math, etc.

nyu does have bio/neuro/premed majors (nyu has almost every major you can think of). However, they are not as good as nyu’s business, humanities, and arts schools. But if those are your interests and you want to study at nyu, why not?

If the question is whether NYU’s science department is as renowned as its business schools, humanities, and school of the arts, then the answer is no, it isn’t.

NYU is a very good school in general and any field you decide to major in will provide you with a great education, but it seems like there are other schools that will fit your needs better.
