<p>Yes a lot of accounting students double major, but a lot of students at Stern double major since its only 12 extra credits typically. There are a lot of accounting-finance majors. Stern consistently ranks top 10 in accounting and have great CPA prep. Definitely consider it.</p>

<p>I just used the usnews rankings since that seems to be the consensus for the most reliable, but it probably takes into account (haha pun) career placement, starting salary, etc. There are tons of accounting career postings. NYU has a great career center at Wasserman, and there are literally like a hundred postings if not more each day.</p>
