<p>It would probably be early enough for Early action, very unlikely for Early Decision. Depends on the schools, also. Where are you looking at?</p>
<p>uh no, the above poster is totally wrong, the october sat i/satii/act is totally FINE for early action AND early decision, it's the november sat stuff that may conflict for early action/early decision applicants, yet many schools say november is okay as well if the deadline is 11/15...and as for regular applicants you can take the sat up to december, hope that helps..peace...</p>

<p>Yeah October is definitely fine. The Harvard and Yale applications even say that if you take the November SAT, you don't have to rush the scores, just have them sent directly to the school where you're applying early.</p>
