Is one honors enough for sophomore year?

So freshman year I took all regular classes, and i did really well. I decided to take english and pre-calc honors this (sophomore) year, but i ended up dropping precalc because it was way over my head. Is this an ok schedule for a sophomore: Honors English, Accelerated Precalc, Spanish 4, European History, and Chem?

Yep! Looks like a good schedule. Many schools limit the numbers of honors and AP courses for sophomores .

There are not very many restrictions at my school (other than just AP euro offered for 10th graders) and my school is a college prep so generally normal classes are harder. Just most of my friends are taking 1-3 honors

It varies by school and by student. At our high school tons of students don’t take a course below honors level other than gym/health (no level on those), other students don’t take a single class above college prep, and still others take a mix. Take what is right for your level without worrying about what other students take.

Why did you take pre-calc as a sophomore?
Have you already taken Alg, geometry and Alg2?

I would try to take Honors Chem if you are on a STEM Track or Honors History if on a Humanities track.
