Is One Year Enough To Make It To Grad School?

Hi guys,

This coming year is going to be my 5th year. I just added Psychology as a double major (my first major being econ). I want to do something psych related as a career. However, I am concerned about my chances of getting into a postsecondary school. Right now I have a 3.2 GPA overall which is not that great. I also don't have any research or work experience yet and I only have one year left to change this. Assuming that I get a 3.7-3.8 psych GPA, boost my overall GPA to 3.4, and spend the upcoming year doing research or psych related volunteer work, do you think I will be able to get into a program? A Phd program is probably out of the question, but what about a MSW or PsyD? Your input would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
