Is orientation necessary?

At our school, orientation is called Link Crew, where they show our classes and give us our teachers, and talk about clubs, etc. We got out schedules, but dont have our teachers yet, so i think thats the only benefit of going. I can find my classes becuase i know a lot of sophmores, juniors, and seniors. do u think i should go? IM A FRESHMAN

sure. if its going to benefit you, why not?

Well I’m in the Link Crew at my school and you do so much more than that, at least at my school but it should be like that at yours too since it’s a national thing. I’d be weary if I were you… But no for real, if it’s like my school you’re in for a surprise. Let us know how it goes and what you did! I’m interested in seeing how another school does their’s.

Im in link crew too, and yes you should go! Your leaders (if your school does that) probably prepared a lot for their groups. At my school, link crew is supposed to let the freshmen bond with the upperclassmen through games and whatnot. Even though you know seniors and juniors, youll still meet lots of new people!
