Hi guys! I was waitlisted at Emory University and chose to join the waitlist as well as transfer my application to Oxford. I have a 3.5 UW GPA, 32 ACT and decent extracurriculars...what are the chances i don't get accepted by Oxford? What about getting in off the waitlist for Emory?

Assuming I do get in to Oxford and not into Emory College I was wondering if you guys could take a shot at determining whether Oxford is a fit for me. I know that it is vital that I visit Oxford (which I will soon) but until then I'd really appreciate some insight on my situation.

I'm concerned with the social life at Oxford and, more importantly, the difficulty of the classes there. I really want to go to a T14 law school and I do know that law school admissions is purely LSAT and GPA based. Thus my question: how difficult are the Oxford classes? I am in the International Baccalaureate program at my school and am use to an intense workload but how difficult would it be to attain a 3.7+ GPA at Oxford? Can someone give me insight into the classroom dynamics at Oxford i.e. are there curves or is there homework every class?

Also, is it easy to use IB/AP credits at Oxford to kind of hurry the transition into Emory College? Don't get me wrong, I am really excited to go to Oxford but getting my degree faster would save my family a lot of money...

Right now my IB/AP scores are as follows:

AP Biology: 2
AP World History: 3
AP Art History: 3
AP English Language: 4
IB Standard Level Psychology: 4

I will be taking 3 Higher Level tests and 2 Standard Level tests this year but from those scores will Oxford let me skip any classes?

Any information or insight is much appreciated! Thank you so much for your time!
