Is "pass/failing" a class bad for students in college who want to transfer?

I am currently in college and I am planning to transfer at the end of this academic year. These were my final grades:

A
A
A
A-
B-

GPA = 3.66

In my Major courses I have a 4.0, if that means anything in the admissions process.
The B- was an economic history class. However, it does not count as a major course for me.

However, if I were to "pass/fail" my B- I would have had a 3.91 GPA. So which looks better?

A 3.66 with no pass/fail classes
A 3.91 with one pass/fail class

In your case I would keep the B-, its not a bad grade, and 3.6 is a good GPA. I don’t think there is anything wrong with one pass/fail, but I would recommend it to those that can’t get better than a C in the course.

I don’t think it makes a big difference either way. Once the course it finished, it would be unusual if you could the grading to pass/fail.
