hey, Penn is just as demanding with affirmative action as other top ivy’s are right?

Penn has very strong multicultural recruitment and is committed to diversity, yes.

Penn is the greatest school to me because of its outstanding diversity, in every aspect involved in a college education.

great thank you

Keep in mind a place can be very diversified in numbers but have strong cliques based upon race. This is pretty common. I wonder what students there feel about this matter.

I'm going to Penn next month, and I've already played poker there with some kids on several occasions.

I was suprised by all the ethnicities.

Jews...
Indians...
Chinese...
Koreans...
African-Americans...
Irish...

all losing their money... to me. :)

I lived on a hall my Frosh year with many southeast asians and while some students didn't try to really get in the group.....I reached out and was well accepted by them. We had many discussions relating to US gov't and American history....so much they wanted to understand. Try to remember that many diversity students will have had education outside of the native land.....in the UK or other European countries so they are sophisticated and know each other.....I knew at least 20 kids from Mumbai.....they had some knowledge of each other previously and they are all very social and I still hang with them.

chocoman. Bring it on.
