Very very good recs by principal, councilor and teachers.
started with English as a second language ended up in ap.

And also what are my chances to Penn state Schreyer Honors College.
Thank you for your time.

any comments are welcome

This thread is not for Penn State. Its for the University of Pennsylvania more commonly referred to as Penn. It is an Ivy League school not a state school like Penn State.

I know that

There is nothing wrong with your stats. Yes, your SAT scores are very low, so retake it and try the ACT. Keep yourself as challenged as possible with your available resources and try to raise your GPA (top 10% is good, but does not compensate for your current scores). By the way, what is your native language and ethnicity? That might change the context just because you might not be held as accountable if you are less familiar with English (in which case, TOEFL is required with weaker verbal scores). More importantly, where would you like to go geographically? Check out a mix of private and state schools. SUNY has some good schools and even more so does UC. Also, schools like Colby college, Gettysburg college, and University of Rochester are great schools, too (esp U of R), in terms of private schools. So please provide where you would ideally attend college and for what areas of study :)

And to answer your specific questions, I would guess that Penn and Cornell CAS would be a long shot, but who am I to say no?

I would like to go near NJ and penn

Rutgers or Seton Hall are not bad (financial and possibly academic) safeties. Depending on what you want to major, Gettysburg is a fantastic private, best for social sciences, with decent financial aid.

^^^thank you
How about Penn State? It looks like cornell too, did any one notice?
click birds eye view and zoom to look around

Of course Penn state, how could I forget? They are a great school. Try for Penn and Cornell, too, btw, if you have money to spend–what’s the worst that will happen? They say no, so try for it.
