Is Physics HL required for Computer Science major

Hi I am planning to study for computer science as my undergraduate major in the US. I have just started the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and want to know if physics HL is required for admission into universities in the US. Do most of the top 40 Universities expect Physics at the HL or is SL acceptable?

I have been told that Maths and Physics at HL can get very difficult hence trying to opt for Chemistry HL instead of Physics.

I am planning to take Maths HL, ITGS HL, English SL , Chemistry SL and Spanish SL. Is physics required as a third HL?

Physics HL is not required for a potential Computer Science major. If you can, you should consider taking IB computer science, but there is no set of “required” IB courses for a computer science (or any) major.
