<p>I've heard that campus is not as liberal as in my parents day.</p>
<p>Most UCs and CSUs are liberal campi. Berkeley is still one of the most liberal schools in the country. Most of us here are social liberals (though most people under 30 are). Fiscally, I think we are widespread with a left tilt.</p>
<p>There are few whackos, now and then who do some stupid things now and then (like living in a tree for several months for a false cause). Those guys aren’t following real causes and seem to just want attention.</p>
