I need opinions on wether Pratt is a good option? It’s either Pratt or MassArt. It would be great to get some opinions! Thank you!
My D opted for Pratt over MICA and MCAD. She thinks it’s a great program for her. In the end it has to be something that you see yourself doing for the next four years. She just felt very at home on campus and really likes the interdisciplinary nature of the ComD program.
Can you afford it? Will your parents pay? If not, then it probably isn’t a good option.
@mom2collegekids is correct if you are a MA resident it’s especially affordable and even if not I think that it’s still cheaper than Pratt. Not sure if housing is an issue there?
FWIW GDUSA ranks Pratt top 5 in GD both on a historical basis and currently. MassArt is ranked near MCAD - both are currently well respected programs and in the top 15 or so. So Pratt is ranked higher but you pay for that.
