I was told by a reputed English Teacher by finishing successfully in Pre-AP and AP classes would automatically boost my Reading and Writing Scores. Can any one concur with her on this? Thanks

It probably would, because you'd be learning a lot about sentences and correct grammar and everything so i'm sure it would help out on the CR and writing sections of the SAT.

Obviously.
It's an English class. You read stuff.
Critical Reading and Writing is also in English. You read stuff. Then figure out the questions.

In my school, in AP Lang, our teacher even has an SAT word list everyday.

What exactly is a "Pre-AP" class anyway?

Anyway, I just took AP English Language and Composition my junior year and I can say that you'll come across a lot of the vocab words which you can use toward the CR and essay section. For example, we had weekly vocab tests from the Princeton Review Hit Parade.

The class does teach you to become a better writer (though this is largely based on how good/passionate the teacher is on helping you with essays) and it will help a ton I think on the sentence fragment questions on the writing section.

holy crap yes... made it sooo much easier (ap lang)
