Is Pre-Calculus required for UCs as a transfer student?

Hello,

I currently go to a California community college. I have to take 3 pre calc classes in order to enroll for Calculus 1 at my community college. The last pre calc class that I am taking right serves as a pre-req for Calculus 1 at my community college. The problem is that I might receive a C in this class, so I wanted to take it as a Pass/No Pass. I am currently undecided on my major, so I am not sure if my future major would require pre calculus. Do most or all UC majors require Precalc? Will it look bad if I change it to a no pass/pass?
Thank you!

If this is de Anza that has those 3 required pre-calc courses you aren’t going to get credit for all three so you should just stay with the C. Let me look up the unit limitation rule on those courses.

UPDATE: MATH 41, MATH 42 and MATH 43 combined: maximum credit, 5 semester/7.5 quarter units

It’s on assist. Go to the bottom, click on “UC transferable,” then go to the math section.

Thank you so much!!!
