is princeton harder than harvard and yale?

does it seem princeton is going to be harder than yale and harvard

Do you mean harder to get high grades? It might be harder to get straight As because of their new policy of capping As at some percentage. Maybe a Princeton parent will chime in and help out here...

ah man i mean the work load

it seems yale is such a country club compared to princeton. >_>

i'm going to princeton and im already ready to go so maybe i shouldn't worry about it.

The work load has a lot more to do with what classes you choose than whether you attend HYorP. Are you double majoring, or are you a physics or biochem major? It all depends on the classes, and there will be a variation of difficulty within each school.

Yale does require 5 courses per semester, for half of the total semesters, and requires more courses to graduate.
I think Yalies would think that "Princeton is such a country club" compared to Yale. :)
You can work as hard as you're willing at any of the top schools in the country.

what are the hardest majors at princeton? I want to do some sort of engineering, but I also want to have fun these next four years....

wow I didn't know Yale had 5 classes, I thought it was 4

I'm gonna major in computer science, but I can already program pretty low level... not sure if it will be a review, prolly not. i plan on making the next computer and princeton has the resources

Princeton is hard. (Can't comment on Y or H). It also depends on your choice of classes. Some are hard and some are OK. If this gives you any idea, most students take naps in the afternoon and most don't sleep till 2:00+ (we are not allowed to call during day time). Last week my son had an eassay due. His roommate also is in the same class. They did not sleep.

Oh, hhmm. I've never pulled an all nighter like many of my friends have. But, I never procrastinate and I have a paper due April 28. Seniorities hasn't hit me at all, and I've been working on it during Spring Break. HHmm...

Eh, I shouldn't worry about this grade deflation because it really just doesn't matter and most are stories anyway to make the school look bad

5 courses for four semesters, and 4 courses for four semesters in order to graduate in four years. I know some crazy hard workers who take 6 courses sometimes so they can squeeze in everything they want to take.

I agree that you shouldn't worry about it. You'll do your best - the grade is not what you're there for.

"But, I never procrastinate"

That would be your key and secrete ingredient. :)
