Is Purdue hard to get in?

Hey.
I am international student with a SAT score of 2010. What are my chances to get into Purdue Engineering. And should I hope for a scholarship?
Any sort of input will be really appreciated!
Thanks!

You’re definitely in. Scholarship about 10-20%. Not sure. That’s what the Admission board decides.
How are your ECs?

Well, I play piano. Released two albums with the school. For private circulation. I am a debater, and have won competitions at the national level. Done lots of comm. service including Big brother programme, and outreach programmes to Old age homes, and Thalessemic Ward at hospitals.
Played and won state-level football.
School captain, member of School repsentative body.
That’s about it.
So what do you think?

Again, any input would be appreciated.

Purdue will take even a kid with a 1900 in their SATs. You are fine.
Scholarship, I don’t know. It’s really hard with internationals.
Plus, I don’t know much about their endowments, and need based and merit based aids.

Wish I could help you more.

Thank you so much. That was encouraging.
I wish someone could tell me if I had a chance at merit aid or need based aid.
Do I qualify for any?
My parents’ earn about 30,000 USD in a year.

bump.
PLEASE advise me. I’ll chance you back.
[ I specifically want to know if I’ll get any scholarship, as I am an international. I know Purdue doesn’t give finaid, but what about Scholarship? My friend from my country, is on a full scholarship, so I KNOW for a fact that they give scholarship to internationals]

I’m pretty sure you would get in. One of my friends that graduated from my high school is attending to Purdue University and she has a 91 average. She only takes honors Math and everything else is college prep. SAT score was 1850. She isn’t going into engineering though. I’d say your fine. What’s your gpa?

Some more views on this?

MY SCORES (School doesnt give gpa, im international)
9th:84%(4/300)
10th:93%(5/300)
11th:85% (2/300)

FYI purdue takes 1800s too
you won’t get any scholarship, mind you. They don’t have any.
It’ll cost u like 40000 bucks a year to attend. Don’t go there of u want aid. Try other univs maybe state univs. I’m an intl to with a 2070. Similar parent income. Got accepted at purdue no scholarship. Going to the univ of Minnesota in a month now.
Apply to purdue just for the sake of an acceptance.

Dude. You’re in. Purdue is quite easy to get into. I don’t know if they’ll be generous with the scholarships, though.
