So, I got a 29 on the April ACT and I have to improve it so that it is atleast 32+, thus I am aiming for a 33 for the September one. Do you guys have any tips on how to improve it by 4 points. I already do a timed section a day and a practice test all together on saturdays for the past 2 weeks, but I was wondering what other things can I do. What prep books/ prep classes/ do you guys recommend? Can someone also send me a link of where I can find ACT real tests as I am running out of practice tests. Thank you!
I may not be qualified to give you any advice as I’m not extremely experienced in the ACT realm, although I did take it once and got a 32.
My advice to you would be that after taking each practice test/section, look back at the questions you got wrong, find out what exactly you did wrong, how to do it correctly, and actually resolve the entire thing. It helps you remember that concept when it comes back later on! I even go to the extent to write down what I did wrong and how to do it correctly, but that’s just my preference.
Also, for practice tests, I did come across this link but I haven’t been able to look into it yet-

D took practice tests and got a 29. After 3 months of taking a practice ACT every Sunday she scored a 36. Yes, a four point improvement is possible
on the October 2014 exam I got a 30. On the april 2015 exam I got a 33 and all I did was increase the amount of practice tests I took. So with work you can increase your score
Can you guys give me a schedule of what you did day by day to study, and for how long did you study per day or per week? thank you!
I would suggest one or two sections per day and if you have ample amount of time on a certain day I would suggest doing the test in one sitting to work on your endurance. I used real tests as well as the 10 practice tests book
whats the 10 practice tests book? also, do you have links to real practice tests other than the ones provided in this post?
My D raised her score by 3 points between the April and June tests (27 to 30) and didn’t do any prep at all for either one of them. You are probably already doing enough.
do any one of you have more links to ACT tests other than ■■■■■■■■.com or the red book? Thank You!
Absolutely. I took it the first time at got a 28. I did tutoring with C2 education and raised it to a 33! So if 5 points is possible I would definitely say 4 points is possible.
Yes you can certainly move your score 4 points. You have a good month left to practice.
Here is a detailed sample schedule to get started, modify it to meet your needs:
