Rice ED responses have me stressed, so to try to prepare myself appropriately I was wondering what you all thought of my chances.
Applied for ED.
GPA (weighted): 4.19
ACT: 32
I got fives on the AP World Test and APUSH
I felt I had a good interview too, and I went on a campus tour and information session.
I go to a college preparatory school, and I have two aunts who went to Rice. Additionally, I had a cosmology internship at my local university and presented a poster of my research at an APS conference. I applied for the Astrophysics major.
So…
Your scores are around the 25th percentile for Rice students which means it is an uphill climb but not insurmountable if you have a strong record of community leadership and solid extracurricular activities. Best wishes and good luck!
