Is Ross comparable to Olin of WashU(#12 in US)

I received a heavy UPS from Olin school of WashU few days ago. In what respects is Ross school( I was pre-admitted) more advantageous than Olin school?

Ross is a target for the top finance and consulting companies. Olin is not. I know someone at Olin who had to work extremely hard, despite being qualified, to get noticed at, let alone get into, Morgan Stanley fixed income sales & trading. That is the only knowledge I have of Olin apart from it being a non-target. At Michigan, Morgan Stanley (along with all the other top firms) will come to you and all you’ll have to do is click your mouse to drop your resume and be considered for an interview.

The chance of you doing God’s Work with old Lloyd when you graduate is much higher at Ross.

^What does God’s Work and old Lloyd mean?

Come on now… there’s only one firm in the world that does god’s work…

and who’s the most famous person with the first name lloyd in the world? (hint: not lloyd carr)

He means Goldman Sachs. I got the Lloyd Blankfein reference, but I’m not sure about the “god’s work” reference, bearcats.

EDIT: Or not. I never knew that Blankfein claimed he “did the lord’s work.” Pretty funny.

Ross>Olin. I’m sorry, but WUSTL is overrated. They play the USNWR game perfectly.

This title bothers me. I don’t think Ross wants to be compared with Olin.

Yea

Is Michael Jordan comparable to LeBron James? …

Ross is definitely quite a few notches higher than Olin. I don’t think it is really comparable. I agree WUSTL is one of the most overrated schools with rankings inflated by the USNWR.
