is Round Up crucial for potential Rushers?

I was planning to go to Austin to go to Round Up but my friend said that they had run out of wristbands. A lot of the top fraternity houses you have to be on the list and have a wristband...so now me and my friends don't have wristbands and supposeably a lot of the frats are jerks about it. (Which doesn't really make a lot of since b/c me and my friends want to rush but they rand out of wristbands?) I know there not BSing me b/c I have talked to a lot of other girls that said wristbands are done being distributed.

What I am asking is will there be another opportunity to meet a lot of the fraternities? I know rushing is throughout the summer but by then will people already know each other?

I also heard that a lot of the frats are very cliquey...is this true? If so...thats kind of lame.

My son did not attend Round Up, but did spend time with the fraternities he was interested in during summer Orientation. Do your homework and zero in on a few that are the most interesting to you and you should be fine.

Thank you for your response
