I have a high school GPA of 3.6 and a 1470 SAT (490 in M,CR, and writing). I had decent amount of extra curricular activities but I never took any honors. I also made sure my senior year was full of academic electives (prob and stat, Spanish, Forensics, etc.
You never know until you apply.
Do you want to work in law enforcement or be an attorney? If it’s the latter, I would check out the Stats Profiles link on this site. And also consider Rutgers-Camden.
I’m thinking law enforcement. I just need to hear back soon thanks for the answer. I got into Camden but I heard its a very bad area
I’ve hung out at Rutgers-Camden. I know many others that go there or teach there. We’re all still here. It’s an oasis. A gated community. Rutgers-Newark is like that, too.
There’s major money and political commitment to downtown now, too. Heck, even snarky Matt Taibbi wanted to do a hatchet piece on Christie & Sweeney, but came away from Camden with optimism: http://www.reddit.com/r/collapse/comments/1yhko6/apocalypse_new_jersey_matt_taibbis_dispatch_from/
Best part about Rutgers-Camden is the High Speed line to Philly. Don’t know if you can still do it, but you might even be able to walk across the Ben Franklin Bridge. Don’t venture north of the Ben, though. For awhile, not even the professionals did.
