What do you think?

subj test is more of logical thinking I guess... As far as I see.
AP test involves course knowledge too, right?

definitely AP. i mean, SAT II is third year of high school, whereas AP theoretically counts as college credit.

Definitely SAT II, imo. 100%.

SATII, getting an 800 is nearly impossible. getting a 5 in the AP exam, is somewhat easier....actually WAYYYYY easier

SAT II, for sure.

I got a 5 on the AP sophomore year...and I just took a normal english class and skimmed the princeton review book. The SAT2 is far more difficult.

seriously? because according to everyone at my school who has taken both, the AP test is harder.

Does it help to take AP Lit before taking the SAT II?

D reviewed using Barron's 2009 book for SAT II Lit. test and scored 800 in October. Try that book.

^ yes, that and Kaplan are great books. This thread has inflated my ego tbh (I have an 800 Lit :P)

I think what makes SATII Lit very difficult is that if you mess up on interpreting one passage you're screwed lol

Like ChoklitRain, I "aced" the AP Lit after two years under a very rigorous high school English curriculum.

When I decided to consider the SAT II Lit my junior year, I couldn't break 700 on any of the three official practice tests that I took. Bah.

Ah, crap, I probably shouldn't have signed up for that one. Does it have anything to do specifically with books covered in the curriculum? Only because I haven't taken AP lit, but I have taken two dual-credit honors English classes, and to my knowledge they have nothing to do with the AP curriculum...

And if so, can I cancel taking that test before test day?
