I just took a Sat II practice test off sparknotes and without even caring or knowing anything about ellipses or circles cross products etc and finishing 15 min before time i scored a 690..

Is the real sat II math really that easy?

I haven’t taken the Sparknotes practice tests yet but I think the SAT II Math tests are pretty hard (2 at least)
I’ve only taken one Barron’s test and got a 740 :/, on the SAT I got an 800. The concepts are a lot more difficult

^ Barron’s is known for being unrealistically tough.

I’ve heard that if you can crank out 740s on Barron’s practice tests, you won’t have trouble scoring 800 on the real one.

I got 740 and 760 on Math 1 and 2 respectively on SparkNotes, but I went overtime by about half an hour each time.

The sad thing is, math is my strong point lol.

There are some posts going on in the forums that say SparkNotes tests are easier that the actual test. I wrote the general SAT on SparkNotes and scored about 2100. Then I got a practice test from College Board and scored a bit more than 1800.
aztennisplaya1, can you tell me if the SAT general on SparkNotes is easier than the actual test?

I am writing the May 2nd test, and I want a 2200. I dont see it happening.
