is SAT that crucial?

I am an international student looking to study in the USA. Im a freshmen but i havnt done the SAT's yet. some universities dont ask for it since im an international student. however, is it still possible to get accepted into a university that asks for the SAT with really high marks in igcse's ( 6 A*s 2 A 1 B ) and recommendation letters, high ielets (8) and toefl (105)marks and lots of activities and clubs (leadership). ? ? im doing the SAT on october 1st. thats the day of the deadlines of most universities ( im applying for spring admission) . is it possible that they may ask me to send them the SAT marks after the deadline?

Crucial ,no. Something to die for ,yes.

If you’re looking at top schools like Ivies or other similar schools, SAT or ACT is a MUST. There is very little way they will admit someone into as fantastic schools as they are without having someone score well.

SATs are important for a lot of schools. You have plenty of time to get the College Board Blue Book and practice for a while. Don’t fear the SAT.
