Is scoring a 28 on math the first time good enough for Purdue school of engineering?

You are average for the school but I would assume engineering has a higher average due to its high rigor.

^Yup, it’s important to look at just the engineering applicants when possible. The solution is to go to the website profiles.asee.org (American Society of Engineering Education). It’s basically the common data set but just for engineering. Lots of other good info as well (number of faculty, students, research dollars, etc. by discipline). I found this through another CC poster and it proved to be a good resource. However, one thing it doesn’t provide is acceptance rate by gender, which can vary dramatically.

For Purdue the 25th percentile for ACT Math for engineering last year was 29, and 75th was 34.
