Is self-studying effective?

Hi. This year I'll be taking spanish 4, AP Enviro, AP U.S. government, AP English, AP Calc, AP micro, and peer teaching for APUS. I'm captain of our cross country and track teams. I'm thinking if I have any extra time, I may do some self-studying for an AP test, just to get some extra credit. I'm considering one of the following: Euro, Macro, Comparative Gov, and Human. Thoughts? And for any who have, what materials did you use and with what degree of success?
Thanks!

Euro is really easy.

Do you think it’s possible to self study more than 1 ap?

Hmmm… I have no personal experience or knowledge, but I’m willing to give it a try.

^Yes. I self-studied 5 this year.

5?!?!!? May I ask what ap’s?

Euro, World, Human Geo, and both Physics C’s.

Euro isn’t easy!! It’s a TON of reading. I’ve heard Human Geo, Psych, and Environmental Science (which you’re already taking) are the easiest to self-study.

Reading? For euro? Not really. Couple hours of searching wikipedia combined with flipping through princeton review and you’re set. Maybe throw in watching a few documentaries (I took a class and that’s all we did).
