Is sending in IGCSE results obligatory for Harvard?

Basically I’ve had a nearly perfect transcript since Grade 9. For some reason I freaked out in the IGCSEs (I only did 5) and ended up with 2 As, 2 Cs and 1 E in Maths.

Do I HAVE to send in my IGCSE results to Harvard? Or can I just leave them out?

Also, I’m taking HL Geo, HL Bio, HL English Lit, SL Maths, SL French Ab initio and SL Business in the IB - I mean my subjects are pretty easy (business, geo, bio & french ab initio are known as being the easiest courses) and most people in my class are taking a lot more challenging courses. Will that affect my application?

They consider your application hollistically, so grades are not everything but your extracurriculars and recommendation, essays and SATs matter as well. However having good grades raises your chances. Don’t take my word for it too much. I’m not sure if the US can do that, but I think in the UK, if you send in one GCSE result, they can track down your others
