Is this way too many classes?

Yes it is only 18 credits, but it is also 6 classes.

Experiences? What is the maximum amount of classes you've done and what was your GPA that semester?

I should also point out that I work 10 hours a week during school.

credits somewhat judge the amount of work though it also depends on the class.. 6 3 credits seem fine to me. i know next term i signed up for 5 3 credits and 1 4 credit for 19 credits and they are all science classes. but since the credit isn't that high it should be okay.

It depends! What is your major and what 6 classes are you taking?

Depends on major/classes -- I know if I took 6 classes I'd be trippin', but I also work 20 hours/week and am in Engineering... I feel like the credit numbers don't really matter -- for example, CS 212 (now CS 2111) is the work equivalent of a 3 credit class but is only 1 credit... so, it matters more the difficulty/rigor. I'd say to go ahead and try it, but drop one if you find it's too much.

The classes are intermediate accouting, two johnson school courses, taxation in Hotel School, AEM course and a language course. So actually 19 credits and 10-15 hours a week of work. I don't know if Im being over ambitious or not. I want some feedback :p

you should be fine

I would have given you more feedback if i actually knew the difficulty level of the classes you have mentioned.
As a bio major, i usually started out each semester with 6 classes but after realizing the difficulty of the courses and the impact it may have on my GPA (I was Premed), i would drop my course load to 5 or mostly 4 classes of 15 credits.
While one of my friends, majoring in operations research would take about 30 credits every semester. He passed all his classes and graduated 3 semesters early but he mostly got Cs and Ds and he was happy about it.
So what i mean to say is, it depends on you, you leanring skills, studying skills, time management skills and your GOALS!

u'll be fine. i've met people who have 23 credits in the engineer school ... and somehow ended up doing well (and still had a life ... but this isn't to encourage loading up on classes). u'll know if u can handle it like around the 3rd week into school when first prelims come up in mid-sept.
