I have never visited the campus, so I wouldn't know.

Yes. One time I saw this guy coming down the hill (from De Neve towards Pauley) on a rainy day, and for some reason his skateboard stopped (?), he hit the pavement face first. Funniest **** I saw that day, I couldn't stop laughing.

ouch... i've never seen anyone wipe out like that.

of course it's allowed, can you imagine banning anything on a college campus? even the no smoking on the top of the powell steps rule is sadly unenforced.

Skateboarding is very popular on campus. More portable than a bike, which is great because UCLA is chock full of stairs, and cooler looking than a scooter.

Unless you're not very good at boarding :P

AKA girls! XD

i saw this one dude skate on the street from sproul turnaround to bruinwalk and he accidentally fell...but the funniest part was when his skateboard still kept going and he had to chase it all the way down the street...i remember everyone just looking at him..and a whole bunch of cars stopped too...haha it was so great

Yeah, I'm not too great at skating. It's been years since I last did it, but I want to pick it up again.

You haven't seen UCI then... they seem to be as strict as the parking enforcement here.

speaking of UCI's parking enforcement...they gave me a $40 ticket for being 5 minutes late to my car during summer session >_<

but the thing with UCLA is there are so many hills... you kinda have to walk to the NCAA center or w.e. to start skating unless you are super pro downhill... then you'll have to go uphill to classes...

bump!

so im deciding whether i should get a bike or a scooter. i'm currently weighing adv and disadv of them...i've had experiences w/ scooters and it's been okay but haven't really considered a bike till recently.

south campus major, north campus minor.

summer=living in off campus westwood apts
next fall=rieber terrace

what do u think?

and skateboard...idk i've only been snowboarding since i was in like middle school. never practiced skateboarding. wonder if it's worth a try haha

what is wrong with old fashioned walking? it only takes me like 10 minutes to get to class in MS or Haines from De Neve...

^i don't know. i really hate skateboarders because they have like no control over where they're going. biking is better IMHO, but walking is best.

with all the hills, youre better off biking or walking
