is some kind of a likely letter?

ok, i got mail from human ec. (the college i applied to) today saying that they got my app when they told me that in email in january. i asked if anyone else got a mail like this and no one answered. why are they reminding me 2 months later that they got my app again?

it talked about how they liked my time and effort and look forward to looking over my app. (which they probably say to everyone). and call them if they have any questions. they'll mail a decision on march 30. they gave me a brochure about h.e. and said "accept our best wishes" for the app process. does this mean anything? lol. it's just really random. it never really said you are likely to be accepted like other likely letters do so i don't know.

what do you think?
so is this some subtle form of a likely letter or am i just over analyzing it and being too optimistic? lol.

edit: oh i forget to say, it was signed personally by the director, not a copy. if that means anything. lol.

My D got exactly same mail from Human Ecology.
Any one know what does this mean?

hmm, interesting.

I sincerely doubt it's a likely letter. It's more of a increase-our-yield-rate letter (by spreading the good news about Cornell to its applicants).

i havent gotten anything yet from human EC so it may mean something, and im not that far away from cornell
