Is something wrong with the SOLAR system?

I log on to check my application status various times and usually have the normal message " your application has been recieved, please submit transcripts, applications are made on a rolling bases, etc, etc, etc"

Today i logged on and it says

"There's no application from you for the current application terms. "

What is going on???

Did anyone else get this message?

Chris, can you please check with my ID that there is an application for me, I am getting a bit paranoid. My id is 106973592

Thanks for your help.

Might be something going on with the system. I'll check on Friday.

Chris

Thankyou.

General Question- I just noticed the supplemental application, is this required? How come I have never seen it before? Thanks

The same thing is happening to me, it was the regular "your application has been recieved..." message yesterday, its "There's no application from you for the current application terms." now.

Have any decisions been made yet?

^^ have any decisions been made for SPRING semester?

maybe the system is updating becuase of decisions?

I guess we will find out soon enough

No, spring decisions have not gone out yet.

Malishka - no decision yet on your file. Your application was received 9/10 in our system. Looks like all five of your transcripts are marked as received, though, so that's a good sign. Hopefully we'll be getting through these soon.

Chris

Thankyou Chris!

It looks normal on the website now.

Do I need to do the supplemental btw?

No, not for transfers.

Is it ok that I clicked on start my supplemental application, but didn't finish it?

I too am trying to transfer, so I realized that I didn't need to do it.

It won't matter. We don't look at the supplement for transfers at all. As long as the regular SUNY app is done.

Chris

Thanks for the quick reply Chris!!

"It won't matter. We don't look at the supplement for transfers at all. As long as the regular SUNY app is done.

Chris"

I sent you a PM, hope that's alright?

Supplimentals are for Honor's college students and some other stuff. You aren't required to do a Part-II or an essay, but I recommend it, because the more the school knows about your, the better you are. If they only see grades, they are basing it on a grade to grade basis, even if you are full of extra activities. They wont know that, so send everything in.

Hold on, Zulj. The supplement is part of the application for freshmen this year; it's not optional like it was last year.

Chris

Oh, I should shut up then :(. Sorry all, don't listen to me about that, Chris has my back.

The solar page ( http://www.stonybrook.edu/solarsystem ) keep redirecting to me some other page, so I can't check my status...

nvm, it's working now.

Hey, I am looking for information on solar panel books. Do you know where I can find them.

Not relevant.
