<p>So I bought Gruber's Complete SAT Guide to prep my Math and I got Direct Hits for vocab as the main thing I struggle with in CR are sentence completions. Now, my main focus is on Writing. I got an 8 on the Essay which I'm sure I can improve, but it's the identifying sentence errors that really gets me. Will the Sparknotes.com SAT Writing section help me improve? Or should I go ahead and buy a different prep book? If you have used Sparknotes in the past, has it helped you?</p>
<p>I used it to prep for the PSAT and my writing score increased from a 59 (sophomore) to a 72 (junior). I recommend it, if you’re scoring below a 650.</p>
