Is Sparknotes prep for Math II actually harder than the reall test

I found a lot of errors in their test, and most of their questions were not hard but they needed more time.
Do you think they are harder than the real test, I mean SAT math II?

I can not buy the other preb books.

Thank you

i dont think so, i scored 20 points higher in sparknotes than in the real thing…

Ahh I remember being so frustrated at the Sparknotes Math II book! So many errors. But no, I don’t think they’re harder than the real exam. Maybe you should try some other books; public libraries usually have a few you can check out. For getting a more accurate approximation for how hard the SAT subject tests are, you should look at the Official Study Guide for all Subject Tests by collegeboard.

yes it definitely is
i got 800 on the real test but 700’s on the sparknotes ones

Despit being a decent math student, I’m actually worried about the Math SAT II. After taking Calc this year my first instinct upon looking at any equation is to find the derivative. CRAP. Gotta review all that Alg II and Geo stuff.

Agreed, 600 something on the Sparknotes, 800 on the actual.

Many of the preparation books are, I think. That includes Barrons. I don’t know if it’s still around, but the book by Rusen Meylani helps a lot. It’s also more challenging than the real test.

Thank you all.
it seems that some people do good on the SAT II and do bad on other tests while others do bad on the SAT II, and do good for other tests!

I wish all of us could take the right test, so the tests will be fair!
