<p>If what you said about the success rate for Harvard College is correct (BTW, I do not know whether this number is actually correct or not as of today, and also, the all important attrition rate is hard to estimate at both schools), Stanford does not have the same success rate. This may imply many things (not necessarily mean that Stanford is worse than Harvard.): 1) California students have to deal with nasty/super-competitive California Medical School admissions, and 2) Possibly too high concentration of premed students (esp. the ORM ones) there; perhaps some of them had better be on other track due to a variety of reasons. (The former is a fact, the latter is just my subjective speculation only.)</p>
