wow props on math and writing...but still stanford is hardcore focused on the test scores, so i'd retake again and focus on reading...if you can get a higher reading score and they take your other two scores, you'll be REALLY well qualified. everything else looks great.

kk thanks...yea my CR needs work. Thats what ill do this summer (in addition to Bio and CHem)

no those stats are terrible. What are you thinking of applying to stanford. Your SAT II's would probably earn you an outright rejection without a look

^Haha, I hope you're joking. You're chances aren't that great solely because of your CR score, but it'll matter less if you're applying to engineering (as you have a 1490 M+V anywayz). What you need to do is improve your sub-700 scores to give yourself a better chance.

Your scores are alright. At Stanford essays the most important fact period. They are EXTREMELY important, and recs play a major role as well. You could have a 1900 and write an amazing, original essay and get in. But yeah, you're on the correct track.

Is this a brag post? But anyways Stanford is really random on its admissions so its a reach for anyone. Good luck. Stats look good btw.

lol are you joking backfire? an 800 on mathIIC is great, and if you retake Biology like you say you will and do 750+ you will have a good shot. if this person's stats are not good enough (disregarding the SATs they'll be taking) then what would you consider satisfactory?

So, basically I need to raise my Bio and more importantly, Critical Reading to 700+s. I can go 750+ for bio, but for CR 700 is good enough. I'm applying for engineering so a Cr score of 800 may not be necessary (although it'd be nice).

...You're wrong. If engineering is what you want then stop retaking to get a higher score in something you're not going to pursue. Colleges don't look for people who get perfect scores for everything. They look for people who have a direction in life and who know exactly what they want to do.

academic looks good, but the ECs need improvement. Any sports?

YEa you might have missed the whole tennis thing, and debate, and its ac...

do you go to a private highschool? my school doesn't even offer than many AP classes, no AP US Gov, no AP World History..but we have AP physics

nah I go to a public school in Montgomery County. ITs sposed to be one of the top counties, so the course work is great.

I think you definetly have a chance, and I feel that any score over 2100 has a chance, so it'll probably depend on the rest of your application

Guard: My D goes there(loves it BTW). I will be shocked if you don't get admitted. Good luck!
