10charrrrrrrrr

It might be a bit easier, but it also moves twice as fast. So, it’s still a lot of work, and can be tricky conceptually because of the pace. I’d say it works out to about the same difficulty.

(Disclaimer: I took 61A/BL over the summer, humanities might be a different story.)

It depends on which classes you refer to. In general, summer session is easier, but not necessarily “a lot”. I have heard R&C classes are much easier, as people usually cannot read and write in such fast pace, instructors will just cut down some readings and even 1 essay during summer session.

Thanks
What’s r and c?

R and C stands for Reading and composition. :)

Having done 2 summer sessions…yes. Because you are going to class throughout the week in truncated sessions, you will be rushing through material depending on the professor. Plus classes in June and July in the lower levels of campus halls are the absolute dregs. Had a great time both summers (this was for political science though).

There does seem to be a more relaxed atmosphere, even though you are covering more material in a shorter period of time.

No. 10char

Are the Chem classes easier? (i’ll be taking Chem 1A)
