Is TA'ing viable in my situation?

Hello CC! I’m an upcoming senior and next year I plan on taking seven AP classes, since most of them aren’t very demanding and my school uses a block schedule so I will only be tackling a few of them each quarter.

However, I still want to TA for my final slot in my schedule so that my schedule won’t consist entirely of AP classes. Usually colleges look down on TA’ing, but will it look bad in my case, considering that my schedule is already rigorous? Plus, I might be able to TA for a class where I study, so it won’t appear on my transcript as a TA class but instead as a study period.

^ I believe OP means colleges in general look at TAing negatively because it might be taken as a filler class for the student to do homework or nothing in.
